‘Tis too much to ask for

‘Tis too much to ask for,
But i will try once more.
My spirit cannot find rest,
Without your divine condescension.
Do let my affection become
Your aegis through all time,
From which I will thrive,
And find peace in the end.
‘Tis too much to ask for,
A wilting flower tears dried.
Your name smells like heaven,
Only the nightingale can understand.
I want to see your other side,
Though the moon never turns her back.
But I will always be on your side,
Just like the earth under the sky.
